South Petherton is a small town in Somerset, England, population approximately 1,900 [1] as of 2001. It is distinctive for the traditional hamstone construction of many of its buildings. It is home to a church with an octagonal tower which is believed to be the tallest octagonal church tower in the UK, and a 14th century manor house.
