South Keys Station (OC Transpo)

South Keys is a bus station on Ottawa's Transitway system. Operated by OC Transpo, it is located at Bank Street and the Airport Parkway (near Hunt Club Road) at the south end of the South Keys shopping complex. It is the main terminus of Route 97 (buses indentified as 97X South Keys).

This is the last station on the Transitway. Route 97 continues on the Airport Parkway to the most southern station, Airport Station, while other routes exits at Hunt Club Road.

From South Keys Station, Route 97 takes 7 minutes to travel to either Airport Station or Billings Bridge Station. Reaching Hurdman Station will take 12 minutes.

NOTES
1. There are two route 84's:

C84 operates via Blohm, Johnston, Conroy, Elmvale, St. Laurent, and the Transitway to Hurdman.

E84 operates locally within Greenboro via Karsh and Esson.

2. Route 97 Airport travels via Hunt Club and Uplands after approximately 10:00p.m.
3. Route 43 is also available nearby at the corner of Bank and Cahill.

[edit] Safety Issues

This station has a history of safety concerns during the night time hours. There were several incidents involving assaults, swarming and vandalism in the vicinity which prompted some increased safety measures.^{[citation needed]} This station has a nightly stop which every bus uses it.
