South Haven is a city in Wright County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 204 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.6 km² (0.6 mi²), all land.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 204 people, 74 households, and 50 families residing in the city. The population density was 125.0/km² (322.7/mi²). There were 76 housing units at an average density of 46.6/km² (120.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.53% White, 0.98% Native American, and 0.49% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.47% of the population.

There were 74 households out of which 37.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.8% were married couples living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.1% were non-families. 25.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.76 and the average family size was 3.39.

In the city the population was spread out with 33.8% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 18.6% from 45 to 64, and 14.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 104.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.5 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $26,250, and the median income for a family was $34,063. Males had a median income of $31,250 versus $22,188 for females. The per capita income for the city was $12,751. About 4.3% of families and 12.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 19.0% of those under the age of eighteen and 17.6% of those sixty five or over.
