South Dakota Public Broadcasting, or SDPB for short, is a network of PBS television and NPR radio stations serving the state of South Dakota. The stations are operated by the South Dakota Bureau of Information and Telecommunication, a state agency.

SDPB's history with radio can be traced back to May 22, 1922 when KUSD signed on the air. But it wasn't until the 1970s that South Dakota Public Radio became a reality. Today KUSD-FM 89.7 in Vermillion serves as the flagship station for the nine-station network.

South Dakota Public Radio was also broadcast in Vermillion on KUSD-AM 690 before that station went off the air during the 1990's.

The flagship TV station is KUSD channel 2 in Vermillion, South Dakota. It signed on the air in 1961 and is the state's first educational television station.
