South Carolina's 9th congressional district

The 9th Congressional District of South Carolina was a congressional district for the United States House of Representatives in South Carolina. It was created in 1813 as a result of the 1810 Census and eliminated in 1843 as a result of the 1840 Census. The district was last represented by James Rogers.

(a) William Mayrant resigned in 1816; Miller succeeded him in a special election.
(b) James Blair resigned in 1822; Carter succeeded him in a special election.
(c) Warren R. Davis was elected in 1834 for the Twenty-fourth Congress, but died on January 29, 1835; Thompson succeeded him in a special election and took office on September 10, 1835.
