Sounds on Sunday is a nightclub in Sydney, Australia.
It is the city's longest running weekly Sunday clubbing event. It started in 1999 employing a selection of Sydney's most popular DJs, interspersed with a selection of internationals ranging from Sasha to Felix da Housecat and Paul Oakenfold.
Sounds take place on a weekly basis at The Greenwood Hotel in North Sydney with the main attraction (apart from the music) being the stunning surroundings - including a heritage listed former Church and outdoor courtyard. The "Melbourne Shuffle" can be observed at the club.
Sounds has grown from being Sydney's best kept secret to achieve international success hooking up with the legendary Space in Ibiza for a series of joint parties on the Spanish island. The club has also expanded throughout Australia, with Sounds events having been held in Melbourne and Brisbane.
