[edit] Synopsis
Paige discovers that her new boss, Larry, made a deal with the demon Zahn, in which he sold his soul for a successful career. This means that his soul will now be auctioned off at a demon auction. Ignoring Piper and Phoebe's plea to not get involved, Paige sells her soul to Zahn in order to free Larry's. Her soul receives a lot more attention than Larry's because she's part whitelighter, part witch and because she's a Charmed One. Meanwhile, Piper learns that Wyatt has been sabotaging her dates; Phoebe receives a new writing partner; Paige finds a friend in Richard; and Chris' attempt to return to the future sends him and Leo traveling back in time.

- The episode title is a play on words to the term Sole Survivor.
- Another title used to promote this episode by The WB was Soul Sister.
- Actor Googy Gress reprises his role as Spencer Ricks, Phoebe's advice columnist rival, from last season's episode House Call.
- Wyatt scares off Piper's dates in this episode by making orb effects emit from his eyes. Piper discovers this once Wyatt tries to scare Richard, but he instead tells Piper what's going on.
- In The Courtship of Wyatt's Father, Paige offers Leo a drink after the party and he refuses saying that Elders can't drink, but at the end of this episode Leo buys himself and Chris a beer.
- When Paige is flipping through the Book of Shadows, she stops on the Monkey Totem page. The camera then goes to the other sisters who are talking with her. But when the camera goes back to Paige a few seconds later, the book is opened to the entry for Kurzon.
