This portal is for the animated adult-oriented series South Park. South Park is famous for it's quick animation style which is made by construction paper and it's common satire and dealing with various issues. Since it first aired on August 13, 1997 153 episodes have been aired, with two more seasons planned. The series revolves around a small town in the Colorado Rockies and four schoolboys who are in the 4th grade; Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, (sometimes Butters).
Randolph Severn Parker III is the younger of two children born to Randy and Sharon Parker. He has an older sister named Shelley (who is the basis for the South Park character Shelley Marsh). Born in Conifer, Colorado, Parker attended West Jefferson Junior High School and Evergreen High School in Evergreen, Colorado, where he was voted class clown. He graduated from Evergreen High School in 1988.
Parker went to Berklee College of Music in Boston before transferring to the University of Colorado, where he met Matt Stone. He majored in music, and, with a goal to someday score films, took classes to learn more about the film-making process. The creators of South Park also created the movie Team America with many of the voices moving from animation to puppetry for the brief period of production.
South Park season 10 ended on November 15. Season 11 will start on March 7, 2007.
