- Fr. Edward Sorin, CSC, priest of the Congregation of Holy Cross and founder of the University of Notre Dame and St. Edwards University.
- Juan Pablo Sorín, an Argentinian soccer player.
- Lord Sorin of Radzyn Keep, a fictional character created by Melanie Rawn for her Dragon Prince series (there is also a Sorin of Ossetia in this series)
