Organización Soriana is a grocery store chains company with 100% Mexican capital founded in 1968 by a Spanish entrepreneur, Francisco Martin Borque, in Torreon, Mexico. Currently operates under the brands Clubes City Club, Hipermart, Mercado Soriana and Soriana. It operates supermarkets and departmental stores for consumer and wholesale markets. Soriana competes primarily with H-E-B and Walmex, touting the fact that they are Mexican-owned and operated.
