Sorboni Banerjee

Sorboni Banerjee is a General Assignment Reporter and anchor for WHDH Boston (NBC 7).

Sorboni Banerjee was born in Kingston, Rhode Island. She graduated from Boston University College of Communication. After displaying skill as a producer, anchor and reporter for BU's local access cable news show and a Washington D.C. correspondent, she completed her education with the honor of graduation speaker. She quickly carved out a role for herself at NBC25 in Hagerstown, Maryland where she improved her skills for her next act. She soon afterwards returned home to Rhode Island and worked as a general assignment reporter for ABC6. Within months she emerged as the morning anchor. Today, she works for WHDH Boston.
