Thanks for your awesome contributions to Ghost in the Shell (film). I had been taking random screenshots from the movie, watching it over and over again, and it had become very tedious. Thanks for getting all the pictures into the article. --Boneheadmx 23:59, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Images
Aloha. I see that you are releasing screenshots into the public domain. I think you'll find this is a problem. See Template:Screenshot for more information on which tag to use. --Viriditas 10:18, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image licensing
Could you license your images in the future? It is quite tedious going through your contribs, licensing the images appropriately- you'll find Wikipedia:Image copyright tags quite useful for that. --Maru (talk) Contribs 20:44, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Starcraftnova.JPG
Hi, thanks for uploading Image:Starcraftnova.JPG. I found your 'unsure copyright' tag on this image. I have determined that the copyright holder only allows non-commercial use of their images. Unfortunately images with such restrictions may no longer be used on Wikipedia (since May this year) and as such this image is likely to be deleted shortly. Please feel free to upload a replacement if you can find one which may be used for commercial purposes. Thanks! David Johnson [T|C] 15:46, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Greetings, and request to vote!
Hello! I hope you're well. I noticed that you recently edited the Darth Vader article. A vote is currently underway to determine if this article should or should not actually be two: one for Darth Vader, and another for Anakin Skywalker.
If you're so inclined, I encourage you to vote promptly. Your vote here or there can make a difference. Thanks again for your consideration, and happy holidays! E Pluribus Anthony 20:49, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

This article definitely needs sources and references. Please provide them. TheRingess 03:47, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding the image Image:Zilla.JPG
Hi. Saw that you uploaded this image, without specifying the source for where it was found. As the source is needed to determine the correct license, the image is now tagged as no-source, which means that it will be deleted in about a week unless the source is specified. Also, if you'd like some help in determining the various licenses, feel free to ask at my talkpage! Bjelleklang - talk 23:29, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright violation
I've deleted your edits to The Wink, which were copied straight from [1]. Please don't steal text from other websites. If you care about the article, feel free to improve it by writing in your own words. dbenbenn | talk 20:40, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
- Furthermore, a large number of your uploads are tagged {{PD}} or {{copyrighted free use}}, when they are clearly not. I have blocked you for two days for lying about the copyright status of images you've uploaded. Please don't do that anymore when you come back. dbenbenn | talk 21:29, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Breasts194.JPG
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Breasts194.JPG. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairusein|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Thue | talk 23:57, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- Songmaster2005, I have deleted the breast images you uploaded. In the future, please make sure that you only upload free content images, and that you accurately tag your uploads. Rhobite 00:31, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Ultimate-wolverine-vs-hulk-20051117010546379.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ultimate-wolverine-vs-hulk-20051117010546379.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Carnildo or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you.
[edit] Stop lying about copyright status
I blocked you for 48 hours on January 6 for lying about image copyright status. Apparently you didn't get the message. I have blocked you for a week this time. dbenbenn | talk 08:40, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Conan the rescuer.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Conan the rescuer.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. To clarify the above: your fair use rationale seems incorrect as the image is not low resolution and is apparently not a comic book cover.

Thanks for uploading Image:Death60.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not.
