Sonya Szatkowski

Sonya Van Dam (or Sonnea, ECW or Szatkowski, TNA) is a former professional wrestler. She is the wife of Rob Van Dam.

Born around 1973-74, she met and married Rob Van Dam in 1998.

On July 11, 1999, she suffered a violent Jet Ski accident when another Jet Ski ran into hers and crushed the bones in her left leg. She had to have metal rods inserted into her leg in order for it to heal and for the bones to reconstruct. Two years later she is fully recovered and doesn't show signs of having had an accident. Physicians tell her that she might get arthritis in her knee. She moved with her husband to Southern California.
