Sony Ericsson S710a

The Sony Ericsson S710 is an update to the Sony Ericsson S700. This swivel phone, available only in black, offers several enhancements to the features found in the S700. It offers Infrared and Bluetooth communication, web and instant messaging access. It includes a 1.3 megapixel CCD still camera which can also capture videos in the 3GP video format. It includes 32MB of internal memory, and has a Sony Memory Stick Duo slot which accepts Duo cards up to 128MB in capacity. The phone's software includes a video player for format 3GP video files, and an MP3 player.
It is possible to access a service menu on the S710a by pressing the following key combination, starting at the home screen: Right, Star, Left, left, Star, Left, Star. This menu provides information about the phone, including SIM Lock information, as well as provides access to several diagnostic tests of various interface and output components of the phone. [1]
The phone was introduced in February, 2005[2], but was replaced by a newer model, the W550 and W600, unveiled at a Sony Ericsson press conference on June 13, 2005[3]
