Sonoma Mountain Zen Center

Sonoma Mountain Zen Center is a Soto Zen Buddhist sangha near Santa Rosa, CA established in 1973 by current abbot Jakusho Kwong-roshi. This center is not affiliated with San Francisco Zen Center, although it carries on the tradition Shunryu Suzuki laid forth and is led by his former student. Jakusho Kwong received Dharma transmission in Japan from Hoitsu Suzuki-roshi (Suzuki's son) in 1978.
