Sonia Dresdel

Sonia Dresdel (born Lois Obee on 5 May 1909) was an actress between the 1940s and 1970s. She was born in Hornsea, Yorkshire, England and was educated at Aberdeen High School for Girls. Dresdel played the role of Mrs. Baines in the 1948 dramatic thriller The Fallen Idol which received Academy Awards for Best Director (Carol Reed) and Best Screenplay.
She died on 18 January 1976, in England of undisclosed causes, aged 66.
