Songs of Faith and Devotion is Depeche Mode's eighth full-length album, which was released on March 22, 1993. The album is their first "rock sound" experiment. It reached #1 in both the UK and US album charts. This is Alan Wilder's last album with Depeche Mode.
It was supported by the Devotional tour
Songs of Faith and Devotion has sold 919,000 units in the U.S. as of April 2006.
