Songs by Tom Lehrer was Tom Lehrer's debut album. The original release was an issue of 400 copies, produced at his own expense in the (then) new 10" LP record format. Costing $15 in January, 1953, they first sold for $3.50, and later $3.95. Later releases were issued in 12" LP format. Songs on this album were re-recorded and/or included in later albums and finally the box set The Remains of Tom Lehrer.
