Songs is a compilation of well-known songs by American singer/songwriter Rich Mullins, released on July 30, 1996 that were released from 1986 through 1995. It was the last album to be released by Mullins before his untimely death in a car accident on September 19, 1997. This would be the first of two "songs" albums, as a second one, Songs 2, was released in 1999. The second contains more of his well-known songs; however, it also includes songs from his 1995 release Brother's Keeper as well.
