I'm currently working on a script intended to create short articles on political parties on a variety of wikipedias simultaneously. However, in order for the technique to work I need help with translations to various languages. If you know Turkish, please help by filling in the blanks. Do not translate the italic parts (X-party, X-country, etc.). If you disagree with the translation provided by another editor, please motivate your change on the talk page.

[edit] Note on Turkish translations:

Several sentences on this page are hard to implement in Turkish as an automated script, because of the vowel harmony and usage of postfixes in Turkish. As an example:

"The leader of the party is X-person"

corresponds to

"Partinin lideri X-person'dur".

But, the correct form of the part "X-person'dur" will depend on the exact form of X-person's name, like "James Smith'dir", "James Jacob'dur" or "James Adam'dır". Because of this, there are cases where the sentence sometimes won't be correct after the substitution of real names into the X-entries, unless corrected by someone knowing Turkish. The following longer translation in this case does not pose such a problem:

Partinin liderliği X-person tarafından yürütülmektedir.

I'm trying my best to circumvent this issue by making alternative (mostly longer) translations. I'm marking these kind of translations with (*) with the hope that someone else might come up with a better one. Atilim Gunes Baydin 22:17, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
