Somerset Fire and Rescue Service

The Somerset Fire and Rescue Service is the statutory Fire and Rescue Service or FRS covering the area of Somerset in the south west of the UK.

Previously named Somerset Fire Brigade it was first formed on 1st April 1948. There are three full time crewed stations in Somerset and these are based at Taunton, Bridgwater and Yeovil with the headquarters being based at Hestercombe House in Taunton.
