Solute carrier family
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Solute carrier family is a classification system created by HUGO to group together carrier proteins.
The term "SoLute Carrier" (SLC) is sometimes used to distinguish a superfamily of proteins from ATP Binding Cassette (ABC).
