From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Solusi University is a Seventh-day Adventist University in Zimbabwe. It offers degrees in theology, among other degree programmes, and training for most Adventist pastors. The institution is located approximately 30 miles (50 km) south west of Bulawayo on approximately 12,000 acres (49 kmĀ²) of land granted to it in the late 1890s by Cecil John Rhodes.

The educational philosophy of Solusi University recognises that true education has to do with the harmonious development of the whole person. To achieve this broad aim, the University provides an environment in which students are encouraged to develop and strengthen their commitment to Jesus Christ, experience personal and social growth, develop their appreciation for beauty, and develop a pattern of healthful living, as well as achieve academic exellence.
