Solund is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. In the past it has been known as Utvær and Sulen.

The municipality was created by a split from Evenvik in 1858. Known as Utvær at that time, the name was changed to Sulen on 1 July 1890. Then, by Royal resolution of 16 December 1923, the name was changed from Sulen to Solund[1].
