Solukhumbu District

Solukhumbu district (सोलुखुम्बु जिल्ला), a part of Sagarmatha zone, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Salleri as its district headquarters, covers an area of 3,312 sq km and has a population (2001) of 107,686.
Mount Everest is located in the northern part of this district, within Sagarmatha National Park.
