Solomon Islands branch of The Scout Association
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Solomon Islands is one of 35 countries where Scouting exists (be it embryonic or widespread) but where there is no National Scout Organization which is yet a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. The Solomon Islands branch of The Scout Association is a branch of the United Kingdom Scout Association for historical reasons and the fact that the number of Scouts in the Solomon Islands is rather small.
Scouts from the Solomon Islands participated in the 19th World Jamboree in Chile in 1998.
