Solidarity (Australia)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Solidarity is a tiny Australian Trotskyist organisation formed by splitters from the International Socialist Organisation in 2004 led by Ian Rintoul, who were primarily unhappy about the ISO's continued membership of the Socialist Alliance.[1] As of October 2006, their website had not been updated since November 2005, however a print edition of their magazine was issued as recently as September 2006. The core group of activists is largely centred around the University of Sydney, although there is also a number of members based in Melbourne.
