Soldier of Fortune (film)

Soldier of Fortune is a 1955 movie about the Cold War and the People's Republic of China in the 1950s. Hank Lee (Clark Gable) is a mercenary who is hired by Jane Hoyt (Susan Hayward) to free her husband, Louis Hoyt (Gene Barry), who has been imprisoned by the Chinese government on trumped-up charges. Michael Rennie also stars as a British official in Hong Kong.
