Cris Owen (born April 14, 1960 in Stockholm, Sweden) is an Swedish American music impresario. During his 30 years in the entertainment industry Owen has been a songwriter, arranger, record producer, musician, band leader, television producer, and author. Owen made his breakthrough in 1977 with the album "Here I Am". He developed at an early age an ability to visualise what he heard in which made him a popular stage manager for swedish artists during the eighties.
His autobiography, "My Life Is A Lie" published in 2002 caused a huge media sensation when he wrote openly about what it's like to live as a transsexual (F2M)
