Sogndal Fotball (formerly known as Sogndal I.L.) is a Norwegian football club from Sogndal in Sogn og Fjordane. It was founded in 1926. In 1976 they were runners-up in the Norwegian cup, losing 2-1 against S.K. Brann. Sogndal Fotball as it is called now, plays in the second highest division in Norway. The club plays at Fosshaugane stadium (capacity 5.402).
