Soga no Iruka

Soga no Iruka (蘇我入鹿? died July 10, 645) was a statesman in the Yamato Period of Japan.
He was a son of Soga no Emishi. He was assassinated by Crown Prince Naka no Ōe (later Emperor Tenji) and Nakatomi no Kamatari during the Taika Reforms. Emishi also committed suicide soon after his son's death, and the main branch of the Soga clan went extinct.
