Talk:Social Credit Party of Saskatchewan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
What do we know about this party beyond that it promoted social credit? Just because that the conservative - populist label fits some of the other Socred parties, that doesn't mean that it fits this one. Social crediters are are pretty varied bunch. Many Canadian social crediters came from the left wing of the political spectrum, at least in the early days. The New Zealand Social Credit Party remains on the centre-left of the spectrum to this day in its new incarnation as the Democrats. Kevintoronto 16:30, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)
My own knowledge of this party is fairly limited. "Conservative-populist" might be accurate, though there are probably better phrasings available. CJCurrie 22:47, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Hmmm... yes, it "might" be right, or it might not be. I would hope that Wikipedia would aspire to a higher standard than just speculation at this point. I'll take it out until someone provide some evidence. Thanks for your comments, CJ. Kevintoronto 13:52, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)
