Sockerdricka

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sockerdricka (Swedish for: sugar drink) is a soft drink from the 19th century. Originally it was brewed and also contained ginger, but nowadays it consists of carbonated water, some sugar, and citric acid. It's quite simmilar to Fruktsoda. It is still sold, despite hard competition from more modern inventions such as Seven Up and Sprite. Sockerdricka is a popular base for many cocktails.
