Society Hill Towers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Society Hill Towers [1] is a three building condominium development located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It contains three 30 story high rise buildings on a 5 acre site. The towers were completed in 1963, and were designed by I.M. Pei.

Those who sail regularly on the Delaware River in the Penn's Landing vicinity, can clearly see the Society Hill Towers as a landmark. Some argue, however, that they are out of scale with the surrounding neighborhood.
