Socialist Action

Socialist Action may refer to one of several socialist (mostly Trotskyist) political groups in several countries. In spite of their similar names, except for the US and Canadian groups, they share no formal connection.
- Socialist Action (US) is a Trotskyist organization in the United States, aligned with (though not a member of) the United Secretariat of the Fourth International (USFI).
- Socialist Action (Canada) is its counterpart in Canada, also aligned with USFI.
- Socialist Action (UK) (also known as Socialist Action Group (UK)) is a small socialist group in the United Kingdom that published a magazine of the same name until 2001. It is a former member of USFI.
- Socialist Action Group (Australia) is a breakaway group from Socialist Alternative (Australia). It has no formal international affiliation, but has its roots in groups aligned with International Socialist Tendency.
- Socialist Action League (New Zealand) is the former name of the Communist League (New Zealand). It is a former member of USFI and now a member of Pathfinder tendency.
- Socialist Action (Brazil) is the English translation of Ação Socialista, a breakaway from the Partido Socialista dos Trabalhadores Unificado. It has no formal international affiliation, though its parent group is a member of the International Workers League (Fourth International)
- Socialist Action/AKP (Germany) is the English translation of Sozialistische Aktion/AKP, which is a member of the International Trotskyist Committee for the Political Regeneration of the Fourth International
- Socialist Action Party (Spain) is the English translation of Partido de Acción Socialista, which is a left breakaway from the Socialist Workers' Party (Spain). It has no formal international affiliation, though its parent group is a member of Socialist International.
