Social Distortion's seventh studio album is currently scheduled to be released sometime in 2007. No official release date and title for the album have been set. This will also mark the first Social Distortion album to not feature bassist John Maurer since 1983's Mommy's Little Monster. He is replaced by current bassist Brent Harding.

In fall 2005, frontman Mike Ness told Crush Music Magazine the album would be recorded towards the end of 2006, making it likely that it would be released in the following year.[1]
In July 2006, in a recent interview with Ness, he stated that the band is now in the studio writing and rehearsing the new album.
