Sobotec Ltd. is a Canadian company located in Hamilton, Ontario, founded in 1988. They specialize in building envelope design along with the manufacturing and installation of interior and exterior wall cladding systems. Sobotec has pioneered the industry’s most widely used rain screen wall panel system, the SL-2000. Materials used for their systems range from aluminum composite material (ACM), solid aluminum and natural metal composite panels. The majority of their work utilizes Alucobond® which is an aluminum composite material.

Sobotec has manufactured and installed millions of square feet of aluminum composite panel materials. Through their wall system designs and experience they have been able to gain international leadership status. They have also worked on national corporate identity programs for Petro-Canada and Nissan North America.

Their engineering and manufacturing plant is a modern facility with approximately 200 employees.

Pioneered by Sobotec, the SL-2000 dry joint system has become the industry's most widely used rain screen solution.
