Sobekemsaf II

Sobekemsaf II Sekhemrewadjkhaw was a pharaoh of Egypt during the 17th Dynasty. He is attested by a series of rock inscriptions at Wadii Hammamat in the Eastern Desert which contain his name. Kim Ryholt notes that one iof the inscriptions is dated to his Year 7. (Ryholt: p.174) Sobekemsaf II's son--similiarly named Sobekemsaf--is attested in Cairo Statue CG 386 from Abydos which depicts this young prince standing between his father's legs. (Ryholt: p.272). Sobekemsaf' chief Queen was a certain Nubemhet.
