[edit] Rationale of fair use for Snoopadelic Films
The image Image:Snoopadelic.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is originally copyright, I (Lajbi Holla @ meWho's the boss?) feel it is covered by fair use because:
- The image is a screenshot of TV-movie originally created by Snoopadelic Films, and intended for wide distribution.
- The screenshot is of lower resolution and quality than the DVD film.
- No free or public domain images have been located for the DVD.
- The screenshot does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the DVD in any way.
- The screenshot is intended to represent Snoopadelic Films production company.
- The screenshot is being used for informational purposes only, and its use is not believed to detract from the original DVD in any way.
- Appearing in the ending credits of the movie it qualifies for logo criteria and as so Snoopadelic Films, as other companies, authorizes the use of its logotype for all purposes not related with the market and as long as there cannot be created confusions regarding the owner of the logotype.
- Footnote : PNG format requirement ignored as it is not from website (official site doesn't provide such)
