SNCF 241P Class

The SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français) (National French Railway Company) 241P Class is a type of 4-8-2 steam locomotive. It hadn't survived into preservation.
The engines were built for service on the PLM network (Paris-Lyon-Mediterrannee) from 1948 to 1952, in order to pull their heaviest express trains. They were in service until 1969, the last one was scrapped in 1973.
