Snausages
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Snausages are a type of dog treat comprised of small pieces that resemble miniature "pigs in blankets" (in the American sense of sausages wrapped in dough). They come in several different flavors, including "bacon and cheese" and "beef and cheese". Snausages are produced by Del Monte Foods, intended for canine consumption only.
Snausages were aggressively marketed upon the product's launch in 1984, using a talking dog mascot named Snocrates, a pun on the name of the philosopher Socrates.
