Snaresbrook is a place in the London Borough of Redbridge.
Snarebrook is an ill-defined area bounded approximately by South Woodford to the North, the lower reaches of Epping Forest and Upper Leytonstone to the West, Leytonstone to the South and Wanstead to the East.
Snaresbrook's most famous building is Snaresbrook Crown Court. It was opened in 1843 as an Infant Orphan Asylum by King Leopold of Belgium, later it became a School. It was designed by Gilbert Scott and William Moffat.
Snaresbrook primary is its only school. Listed on South Woodford page since Snaresbrook doesn't possess its own postal district though covers parts of E11 (Leytonstone and Wanstead) and E18 (South Woodford).
