Smoke is a fictional character, a mutant villain in the Marvel Comics Universe. His first appearance was in X-Force #119.

Smoke presumably was secretly recruited by Coach, not for X-Force, but for his own rather unknown purposes. Smoke first appeared when Coach sent him and Succubus to reprimand the Orphan for not doing as he said. A battle erupted between X-Force and Smoke and Succubus until the Coach called for it to cease.

The Coach later sent Smoke and Succubus after the Orphan again. However, Wolverine arrived to save Orphan, subsequently killing both operatives.

Smoke was composed of a tangible smoke-like substance. He was endowed with superhuman strength, the ability to levitate and reconstitute his body from separated pieces, and the ability to billow clouds of smoke to hide his exact location.
