Smith and Williamson Limited is a professional services company in the United Kingdom. It is the UK member firm of Nexia International. With offices throughout the UK, the company offers auditing, consultancy and tax services to a wide variety of organisations.
Smith and Williamson is the 8th largest accountancy firm in the UK, with revenues of £136.9 million for the year ending 30th April 2006, and average revenue per director of £810,000. [1].
Unlike other large accountancy firms in the UK, Smith and Williamson is a limited company rather than a limited liability partnership.

Smith and Williamson was founded in 1881 as a firm of traditional chartered accountants. It merged with NCL (Securities) Limited, a UK based fund manager in 2002. In 2005, it merged with Solomon Hare, an accountancy firm in Bristol- retaining the brand name.
