What about Smart Tags in the context of software? Eg. http://www.alistapart.com/articles/smarttags/

Smart Tags in the context of software were added to Microsoft Office XP. Smart Tags function like typerlinks, but typically contain several right click menu options which change based upon the context of the text they are associated with. Looking back at the comments above, and seeing a new entry for another "Smart Tag" (the Asian toll system) I guess there should now be a disambuation page... only I don't know how exactly to describe what a software smart tag is. SterlingNorth 05:14, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
