From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Smartstores is the generic term for next generation retail technologies that use RFID and other smart technologies.
Retailers are fast adopting technologies that enhance the productivity of store space and inventory. Some solutions include kiosks and self-checkout terminals, with RFID keeping track of all incoming and outgoing products. Smartstores technology offers consumers better information about products and more control over the shopping process.
