[edit] History
Smart's Mill opened in 2004, to relieve crowding at Harper Park Middle School and J. Lupton Simpson Middle School. The school is anticipated to feed into a new high school in Leesburg in the 2009-2010 school year, but currently most students finish their schooling at Heritage High School. Students who came to Smart's Mill from Lucketts finish their schooling at Loudoun County.
