Slurms MacKenzie was a fictional character in the Futurama animated cartoon television series from the planet Wormulon. He is voiced by actor David Herman[1], and appeared in the episode Fry and the Slurm Factory.

Slurms MacKenzie was the mascot for Slurm, a highly addictive soft drink, and is credited as the original party worm. In Fry and the Slurm Factory, the Slurm company open a competition where the winner gets to visit the factory and party with Slurms MacKenzie.

Before this, Slurms had been partying for at least 40 years, all 40 of those being with his female companions, Dixie, and Babe. Slurms has to party all night, every night, or he's fired, or so Glurmo, the tour guide of Slurm factory, says.

At the end of the episode, Slurms reveals that he is exhausted by his party lifestyle, and sacrifices his life so that Fry, Bender, and Leela may live. He died in the year 3000.

[edit] Trivia

  • Slurms' catchphrase was "Whimmy wham wham wozzle!"
  • Behind Slurms' sunglasses, his eyes are bloodshot from all the years of endless partying.
