Hi Slo-mo. I am currently in the process of assembling a Schoolwatch photographers organization on Wikipedia, and after noticing a number of the wonderful New Trier High School imagery you've uploaded, [1] was wondering if you would be interested in joining our group by capturing other schools within your local area. Hey Owen, somebody vandalized my user page again with a message from an administrator. 69.44.62.216 did this just after 69.44.61.197 (who I told you earlier had vandalized my user page with a message from you) had deleted a section from New Trier High School and cited me for vandalism in the history section. It seems that vandal is still stalking you, reverting all your edits. I undid his reverts, and blocked him for 48 hours; let me know when he returns. Owen× ☎ 20:30, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] New Trier/Marijuana Use

Slo-mo, I appreciate the edits you've made on the New Trier Township High School page. However, I do not agree with your judgment on the importance of the section on Marijuana use. As I said in the discussion for that page, the users at IP 64.34.166.88 and 69.33.61.197 went too far in deleting the Marijuana use section. However, in principle, I believe that their gut-reaction is the right one: it is not a necessary component of this article. How many other schools have such a section--a whole section--dedicated to the matter?

There is a compromise between unnecessary detail and subjectivity. We just haven't found it yet. Again, I appreciate your input and look forward to your response. User:AMHoffman

Hi, I've replaced the Neo-Geo logo you uploaded (Image:Neogeologo.jpg) with a PNG one (Image:Neo-Geo logo.png). It's cleaner, smaller in filesize and has transparency. I've listed the JPEG one for deletion. Hope this is OK. –Mysid 13:27, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Northfield4.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use.
