The Sloop Montgomery (1776) was a American military sloop. It was captained by William Rogers and succeed by William Mercier. It commandeered many British civilian ships in support of the American Revolutionary War.

It sailed in tandem with the Schuyler. Both shipped out of the New York City harbor in 1776.
